There is nothing like having your first contribution of words and photography in print arrive at your door, and I was finally able to celebrate this achievement last week with the arrival of my copy of Wildling magazine, volume 4.
Wildling magazine is a parenting journal for free-spirited families, and is based in the U.K. I first learned of this publication through Instagram, where I discover many of my favourite bloggers, small shops and independent publications. After reaching out to editor, Rebecca Lindon, about information on Canadian stockists, we found ourselves discussing my contribution to the next volume. My blogging adventure had just begun a month before, so this was an incredibly exciting project for me.
In addition to my contribution, Books for the Creative Mama, there are essays on loss and longing in motherhood, what it means to be a grandparent, co-parenting with grace, and fun pieces on wild swimming and 31 days of wild mixed in amongst breathtaking lifestyle photography.
You can get your hands on a copy of Wildling, volume 4 by ordering here. Volumes 1, 2, and 3 are now available as digital copies here, which my Canadian friends might find more convenient.
